DYE SUBLIMATION / DIGITAL PRINT APPLIQUÉ SCREEN PRINTING
Dye Sublimation or Digitally Printed flags are manufactured on a state of the art machine that achieves high resolution images and allows for a variety of materials such as Nylon, Dacron, and Poplin to serve whatever your need may be, indoor or outdoor.
Best used: When in need of small quantity, the design detail is high or the colors involved are gradient or halftone colors.
Custom Appliqué banners and flags have dimensional lettering hand sewn onto nylon. Your design is then hand cut to the desired shapes. The result is a rich dimensional look.
Best Used: When in need of a small quantity, the design level is moderate and the colors involved are solid spot colors.
Screen printed is a process where ink is forced through a mesh screen onto a flag or banner.
Best Used: When in need of larger quantities, cost is an issue, and the colors on the design are solid spot colors. Perfect for long runs of outdoor flags or banners where durability is needed.

What sizes are appropriate for display outdoors

The type of flagpole, the length of the flagpole, and the number of flags being flown simultaneously on that pole determine the appropriate flag size for display outdoors in a business setting. When flying multiple flags on the same flagpole, the lower flag(s) should generally be one size smaller than the main flag. Use the chart below to determine which flag size is appropriate for your flagpole.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS


Screen Print or Appliqué Job
 All files must be vector!  This means that the files must be comprised of outlines and not pixels.  All lettering within files must be converted to outlines also so as to avoid font confusion.  Acceptable file types include: .ai, .cdr, and most .eps files.  This artwork can be emailed to sales@qualityflags.com.


Program Specifics
1.Adobe Illustrator 9.0 or less vector files.   2.CorelDraw X3 or less vector files (PC only)   3.Macintosh CorelDraw files that have been exported as Illustrator files.   4.EPS vector files from other programs can be sent, however they may need to be altered by one of our graphics professionals for use.  In some cases font substitutions may be necessary.


Four Color Process Jobs: 

Illustrator 9.0 or Photoshop 6.0 files. We will accept both vector and pixilated images for our 4-color process work.  We can easily scale any vector files that we receive, however when sending pixilated files such as .tiff, .jpg, .bmp, .psd or pixilated .eps files, please keep final output quality in mind.  In other words, the higher the quality of the file, the higher the quality the output image will be.  Ideal resolution is between 150 and 300 dpi at final output size.
